Author: I am Melinda Stonebraker. I'm married to Ryan and we have two daughters. I work part-time as the Administrative Ministries Coordinator at Tipton United Methodist Church and attend University of Dubuque Theological Seminary working toward a Masters of Divinity. In previous years I've loved teaching at Tipton High School and working as a web developer and project manager for ArrowQuick Solutions. :)
Purpose: Primarily I intend to use this blog to help me more fully understand the information I will be learning in seminary, by communicating with you through writing. I hope it will be a way to share the things I'm learning with my local congregation, First United Methodist in Tipton, and other friends and family so they can go on the journey with me.
Comments: I intend to have comments off for the most part because I don't know that I want the can of worms that comment threads bring. I don't think I'll have a lot of time for the blog and I don't want to use the time I have to managing comments because I wouldn't be able to do it with integrity.
